Many screen printers, especially those taking the leap into their first automatic, worked with manual screen clamps and do not necessarily consider it
a draw back. The fact of the matter is that in regards to setup
time, pneumatic screen clamps are vastly superior and will save you
more time and money then you might imagine.
Anatol Equipment strives to
become better everyday and that includes improving the design of our
equipment when possible. When we first released the Volt onto the
market, the only criticism that we heard was from automatic
owners who already experienced the pneumatic screen locks
and considered manual locks a downgrade... As you can imagine, that
did not sit well with the engineers here at Anatol.
For a machine that features highly advanced components such as servo-index, AC stroke and servo-lift, central-digital off-contact, digitally controlled stroke/flood speed, as well as Ares OS the industry's most advanced operating system, there simply had to be a better way!

But
how?
Other all-electric machines have been on the market for years and their manual screen lock design has not changed and there you have the intrinsic problem with an all-electric machine such as the Volt.
In order to maintain it's "all-electric" status and appeal, simply adding a small air compressor and chiller for pneumatic screen would not suffice and completely go against the fundamental purpose of why the machine was built. Well, it took a good of time to conceptualize, build and test our solution to the manual screen lock issue but we are happy to announce that future is indeed here!

Now you can enjoy all the added
benefits that the Volt presents without having to sacrifice speed
during setup. One quick flip of your wrist will engage our
spring loaded mechanical screen locks in the same amount of time it
takes you to flip a pneumatic toggle switch! Another benefit is
that the larger surface area of the clamp will provide a more secure
hold and minimize the possibility of having your screen kick out. Read more at www.anatol.com
